Rigid Industries LED Lighting Wins the GM Design “Best New Chevrolet Truck” at the 2011 SEMA Show For Their Project Chevrolet “Baja” Silverado
Each year SEMA hands out awards in different categories which feature some of the project vehicles built for the SEMA show. This year was no different, as Rigid Industries LED Lighting combined with General Motors took home the award for “Best New Chevrolet Truck.”
The project was a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4×4.
“The road for the Silverado doesn’t end with SEMA. It will be making appearances at up to 32 race and off-road related events and shows this coming year. We also plan to put the truck to work as support for our many off-road race teams. Having the Baja at off-road events and shows will provide fans of the industry with a first hand look at the capabilities of the new 2011 Chevrolet 2500 HD 4×4 as well as showcasing our world class LED Lighting Products, ” said Taylor Anderson, VP of Sales and Marketing for Rigid Industries.
SoCal Says: If you get the chance to see this truck in person don’t miss the opportunity. It is truly a spectacle and Rigid Industries has easily built one of the nicest trucks we have ever seen.

Armin Schwarz and Martin Christensen powered their way past the entire field to take a commanding first overall at the SCORE San Felipe 250. Known for the extreme roughness, the San Felipe 250 race features some of the most treacherous suspension killing terrain in any off-road racing course.
