KMC Sponsored Camburg Racing Scores Win in Arizona
Camburg Racing scored a pair of wins in the 6100-spec class at the Best in the Desert Blue Water Challenge in mid-October. Jerry Whelchel was behind the wheel of the #6175 Camburg Racing Monster Energy General Tire truck, with Craig Hall navigating. The duo were in contention for the lead from the start of the two-day contest.
In their first race, they put in a commanding performance to cross the finish line nearly 14 minutes ahead of the second place finishers. They won again the next day, this time with a seven-minute lead. Their result was also good enough for a Top-10 finish in a field of unlimited Trick Trucks. Not only did they finish first in their class but also 9th overall in a field mostly comprised of higher-spec vehicles.
As you may know, KMC Wheels is a big supporter of the Camburg team. SoCalTrucks.com is also a huge fan of Camburg products, especially if you plan to use your lifted truck in heavy offroading or racing. It’s great to see KMC supporting a quality company like Camburg. Let’s see if they can keep this success going.
