The Banks Bullet
If you have a diesel truck and are looking for a tuner that won’t kill your wallet, then the Banks Bullet may be right up your alley! If you drive a 2001-04 Duramax, 2003-07 Dodge Cummins, or a 2003-07 Powerstroke, then read on.
“Banks Bullet adds up to +60 hp and +100 lb-ft at the rear wheels, offers built-in AutoRate® and ActiveSafety® safeguards, and stacks with any aftermarket chip or programmer,” says Dan Hobgood, Marketing Manager at Banks. “This is an all-in-one tuner and control panel that displays boost, percent of fuel increase, self-diagnostics and power level.”
The user can choose what they want displayed on the Bullet, so you can really customize it for your specific needs. There is even an exhaust gas temperature reading! This thing isn’t the 6-gun, but if you need to save some cash, this is probably a nice option. We are not sure how much it will retail for, but we are thinking around $300-$400.
Socal says: Banks Power is always coming out with great products and the Bullet is no exception. A lot people don’t upgrade their diesel because the 6-gun costs around $600+ without installation. They have really filled a need with this product. The insiders at Banks said they are developing more products for gas trucks, so be on the lookout. Once you Banks, you’ll never go back.
