Anyone who has watched COPS knows that sometimes police have to chase criminals off-road. Even though cars and police trucks are built tough, there comes a time where more is needed. That’s why Dodge built the Ram 1500 Special Services truck. It has a 390 HP V8 engine, 220 amp alternator, and even additional door support for ballistic panels. Unfortunately, they are not available to civilians. Only police and first responders can order this custom truck.

SoCal SAYS: It’s too bad that civilians can’t get a Dodge this sick, but I guess there are always aftermarket shops who can help. We hope Dodge would consider adding a lift, tires, and wheels and selling to the Border Patrol or other agencies that need help with off-road trucks. Could you imagine getting change by a police officer in a pre-runner lifted truck? It would suck to get caught, but it would be awesome to see a cop bombing a truck in the desert to catch you…
