Red Stripe Hooray Lifted FJ
If you thought that Budweiser, Hooters, or Dr. Pepper 10 would be the first company with a corporate lifted truck, you’d be wrong. That’s right, the first one we found comes from Red Stripe Beer. The Jamaican beverage company known for their classic “Hooray Beer” commercials also has a lifted FJ Cruiser known as the “Beer Patrol.”
Red Stripe came up with the idea when they started their Beer Patrol campaign. They drive around Jamaica and make unannounced stops with free beer samples and entertainment. Imagine working construction or mowing a lawn and all the sudden, a lifted FJ, free beer, and 2000-watt music system roll-up to make the day a little brighter. So awesome!
The lifted FJ’s have been on the street since October 2011 and people seem to love them. We would suggest they add the Ballistic Jester Red-Stripe wheels to it though.
SoCal SAYS: Way to go Red Stripe. Anyone can build a beer van or a beer Ford Focus, but who uses a big FJ? We hope that next up for the Beer Patrol is a big Ford F150 or Chevy Silverado with Red Stripe kegs in the back, Red Stripe Wheels, and 10,000 watts of sound. Hooray Beer.
