Gibson Exhaust Price Increase
If you weren’t already getting squeezed from high gas prices and rising food costs, prepare to shell out a few more dollars when upgrading to a Gibson exhaust. The bad news: due to the increase cost of materials and freight in manufacturing, Gibson prices will increase by 4% effective January 1, 2013. The good news: you can buy a Gibson exhaust this Christmas and save 4%.
This press release to distributors shows the thoughtfulness of Gibson exhaust. They not only build great products, they tell you when prices will go up so you can save a little money. The company’s owner, Shawn Gibson, says, “Thank you in advance for your understanding with this increase, we do realize each increase is an inconvenience to our customers. I speak for the entire team here at GIBSON when I say ‘We appreciate your continued support’ and look forward to a strong sales year in 2013.”
We understand these are tough times and costs are rising quickly, so price increases are understandable. Thank you Gibson though for communicating well and building quality products. Click Here to Download the Gibson Jobber Price Schedule

NEW Metal Mulisha Exhaust from Gibson
Gibson Performance has teamed up with X-Games Gold Metallist and the “General” of Metal Mulisha, Brian Deegan, to design a complete arsenal of Cat-back Exhaust Systems and Exhaust Tips for Chevrolet/GMC, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, and Toyota trucks.
The Metal Mulisha Exhaust brings you thumping sound, a power hit, and American-made quality with each Stainless Steel System. Metal Mulisha won’t leave you hanging with small pipe either, they got it REAL BIG all the way to the TIP! It was designed for the 16-20 year old truck owners who want and can afford an extremely loud, aggressive exhaust system like this one. Gibson is even quoted as saying it’s “obnoxiously” loud. The style and the noise will definitely grab people’s attention. No word yet on the price, but it should hit the market by early 2012.
SoCal SAYS: We’re surprised that other exhaust companies haven’t done branded promotions with groups like the Mulisha, UFC, or other extreme athletes. Lifted truck owners typically wakeboard, snowboard, surf, dirt bike, drive boats and other adrenaline-related activities. Why not create an exhaust that stand for what you like to do with your truck. Outside of some of RBP’s exhausts, no one else has gotten creative. It’s great to see Gibson making a run at RBP and hopefully they’ll keep being creative. We love it.
