SNORE rage at the river
SNORE (Southern Nevada Off-Road Enthusiasts) returns to Laughlin with one of its biggest events of their 2011 season, “Rage at the River”.
Over 300 cars, trucks and buggies will compete in a three day race from December 9-11.
Kenny Freeman, a member of the SNORE Board of Directors, competitor in the 1600 Class and current SNORE points leader:
“The level of racing is incredible in Laughlin and it is an excellent way for our racers and crew members to end one year while getting ready for the next year.
“Also, the start-finish line is one block from the Colorado River; and the rooms are even closer. There are ten different properties competing for our business and the hotels there work hard to make us all feel welcome. The people of Laughlin love off-road racing and they want us there.”
Racing takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Spectators can purchase tickets for $5.
SoCal Says: It’s an early Christmas present for race enthusiasts. We have never heard of anyone having a bad time in Laughlin. Make this weekend a race weekend.
