NFABWORKS Builds a Sick Titan
For a long time, we at SoCalTrucks have loved the Nissan Titan. Therefore, when Chris Nallick at NFABWORKS in Milton, Florida sent us some pictures of one of his latest builds, we got excited. This 2005 Nissan Titan Crew Cab started as a project in late 2007. In 2009, Chris completed a solid axle swap (IFS to solid axle) and thought he was finally done. Of course, like most lifted truck owners, he got the bug again in 2010 and went back to work.
Chris decided to get even more crazy and decided to do a diesel swap. He found a V12 Cummins engine from a 1997 Dodge 2500 that had the donor motor, transmission, and transfer case that he needed.
The next step was going to Southeast Power Systems (“SPS”) out of Tampa for the engine upgrades. Because he wanted 375 horsepower and 750 ft-lb of torque, SPS proposed a Borg Warner S300 Turbo, Bausch 370 injectors, fuel plate, 3K governor springs, and an AEM Brute Force HD Filter (we’re big AEM fans). Chris knew the clutch wouldn’t hold this much power, so he ordered the Zoom Performance Stage II VGT clutch to put the power to the ground.
Now that the motor and the transmission were set, it was time for some fresh wheels and tires. “I wanted the wheels to look a little different, so I added a custom OMF Simulock to a set of 20″ Fuel Octanes,” said Nallick. “Then I completed the package with 40″ Nitto Mud Grapplers, which made the truck look great.” Because he added a bunch of weight to the truck, he also changed out the 8000 winch for a T-Max 9500 Competition Series winch.
When he finally got the Titan on the road, he fell in love with the new found power. This lifted Titan can power-up quick, has better gas mileage, and turns heads when driving around Florida. A Cummins powered diesel engine in a Titan is a thing of beauty.

SoCal Says: This is a great looking truck with power that can only be experienced by two people, the person driving it or the person your driving past. We would prefer to see some fiberglass fenders instead of the Bushwakers, but that is only a small piece of an overall AMAZING truck. If we lived in Florida and needed to lift a truck, NFABWORKS would be our first call!
