La Jolla teen finds passion for off road racing

Kids without driver’s licenses are on the rise in the off road industry. 15 year old Taylor Bertrand is one of the youngest off road racers around and she doesn’t stop at racing. Taylor is an honor roll student and a varsity water polo and softball player.
Taylor was introduced to the sport by her mother’s fiance Randy Minnier, who is also a racer. Taylor has become very good in a short time and she even competed at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in Lake Elsinore in April.
Taylor is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Watch for her in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
