Gordon Finishes 14th Overall at Dakar

Robby Gordon and Kellon Walch had high hopes going into the 2013 Dakar race in Chile. Even though they had 8 podiums, including two stage wins, they had a roll on day four which pretty much put them out of the competition. Toyo Tires, Robby Gordon’s sponsor, supplied Robbie’s vehicle with tires and they did not have a flat throughout the race. Pretty sure that if a tire can handle the off-road terrain in Chile, they can handle whatever you can throw at them. We’re a big fan of another one of his sponsors, 4WheelParts. Even though Gordon and Walch ended up in 14th, they seemed to have a lot going this year.

The champions from 2012, Stephane Peterhansel and Jean Paul Cottret of France, repeated again 2013. Pretty impressive. Here’s to next year.
