The 2009 season saw Bryce moved up in class again as he raced his first full season behind the wheel of an Unlimited Pro 2 race truck. He also raced the Limited Buggy class, as well as the Unlimited Pro 4 class during the second half of the 2009 season. 2009 also marked his first full season racing in the desert. Bryce won three races enroute the 2009 BITD Class 10 Overall Championship.
He earned victory at the 2009 1000-mile three day BITD Vegas to Reno race among some of the most challenging conditions in Nevada’s harsh desert. Bryce’s desert season was highlighted with an impressive Trophy Truck victory in his first ever Trophy Truck race at the BITD Silver State 300. Congratulations to Bryce as the 2011 Baja 500 champion in both Trophy Truck and 4 Wheel Overall classes. Menzies drove an impressive race, maintaining his first position from start to finish.
SoCal SAYS: Bryce is clearly a talented driver, even before he won the Baja 500 4-Wheel Overall. Keep an eye out for Bryce in the future…the sky is the limit from here.
