Toyo Tires Expanding Operations and Hiring

The North American division of Toyo Tires has decided to hire almost 500 people and expand their operations in Cartersville, Georgia over the next nine years.  Toyo currently has a 1.7 million square foot plant operating in Georgia since 2006.  This is great news for the lifted truck industry in light of the economic slowdown and 9% unemployment.

SOCAL SAYS: Toyo makes such great tires, it’s not surprising to see them thriving right now.  When you have a budget to spend on a tire, you shouldn’t waste time with companies that are unproven.  A company like Toyo should be around for a long time and this news continues to affirm their reputation as a top tier player in the lifted truck tire market.
