California Inmate steals a fire truck
Police were able to capture an inmate in San Diego after he escaped from his prison work detail and attempted to get away in a fire truck.
Thomas Frances Kelley, 51, escaped on Sunday from Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility.
Kelley was sent to prison in November on a parole violation after an auto-theft conviction. He was assigned to the firefighting force of the prison and was considered a model inmate until his shenanigans on Tuesday.
SoCal Says: We know this isn’t lifted truck related, but we found the story a bit humorous and wanted to share it with you. Who steals a fire truck and tries to get away with it?
