Niklas Mattsson claims victory at season’s second Big Air World Cup

19 year old Nikas Mattson claims the title of this season’s second big air competition, while the Swedes sweep the podium. This is the first ever Swedish sweep, and they Swedes are showing their style, innovation and height in big air.
The season’s third big air is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2012, in Quebec, Canada.
Total points are a combination of big air and slopestyle and Mattson has placed himself in a pretty good position to win it all.
“I’m feeling great. I actually don’t know what to say. I never was expecting this; although I felt pretty good. But after the first run in the finals I got pretty nervous.
That was my first win ever, the first of a Swede here in Stockholm. It couldn’t be any better.
I didn’t feel any pressure just because it was a home turf event. I’m here to have fun and enjoy the event.”
