SEMA Booth – Ford

With SEMA around the corner, we thought we would spend this week showing you some of the lifted trucks and SUV’s your favorite company is bringing to the show. We’ll also tell you about their booths and whether we think it’s worth stopping by if you are there. First up, FORD trucks.

Even though this is only a toy truck for the kids, you still shouldn’t make something this ugly. Are they trying to replace a fire truck? Why? Firetrucks are fine as is. The problem here is that little kids will think this is cool, will buy a lifted truck just like it in their 20’s, and only then find out it’s ugly when they see their friends laughing. Sorry Ford, but this one is a dud.

The other truck Ford is bringing is the F150 Ecoboost with a 4″ Skyjacker lift. We actually like the Ecoboost truck (without the hideous paint job), but why the hideous fender flares and front end? Why isn’t Ford bringing a big F250 lifted 10″ with Toyo’s and Rockstar wheels?

SoCal SAYS: We give Ford a “D” grade for their SEMA trucks. They are both pretty ugly, but we gave a “D” because they have a lifted truck that is environmentally friendly. Let’s hope Ford brings their “A” game to SEMA 2012.
